However in the case of a medical emergency that occurs after the normal deadline, application may be made up to 5pm on 1 April.

Speaking on Harry’s confirmation a member of the selection panel said:

We are confident that Harry has what it takes to win in this ward.  He has lived in the area for many years, so he is familiar with the issues that affect both the residents and the business owners in the ward.  He is  hard working and committed as evidenced in by his ability to simultaneously serve as the local party’s Campaigns Director, founding and executive member of University of Cumbria’s Liberal Youth and a third year Business Management student.  It is this energy, drive, passion and dedication that is needed on the City Council.
